Kinetin N6-furfuryladenine plant growth hormone data

SNTKY announced results of a study in 64 subjects with mild to moderate photodamage to facial skin. Subjects applied either 0 percent or 0.005 percent kinetin in lotion twice daily for 24 weeks. They were evaluated monthly for overall severity, clinical signs of photodamage, global assessment of improvement and subjective symptoms of skin irritation.

Among those treated with kinetin, 33-36 percent had good-to-excellent responses versus 12-21 percent given vehicle. Fine wrinkles showed 21 percent improvement, actinic lentigines (flat brown spots on the skin) improved 20 percent, mottled hyperpigmentation improved 34 percent, telangiectasia (vascular lesions) improved 39 percent, and skin roughness improved 41 percent.
