CYTL announced results of a Phase II trial of Cylexin, showing a reduction in reperfusion injury following PTE, the surgical removal of chronic blood clots from the lungs.

A total of 51 patients received either Cylexin or placebo, administered at a dose of 20 mg/kg prior to surgery and as a continuous infusion of 1 mg/kg for 10 hours subsequently. End points were overall clinical impression of lung injury, and two objective measures of lung injury. ...
