LeukoScan antibody fragment linked to technetium 99m data

Results of a multicenter study in 74 patients comparing LeukoScan to white blood cell imaging and bone scan in diagnosing osteomyelitis in long bones, prostheses, and in patients with diabetic foot ulcers, showed that IMMU's agent had 89 percent accuracy, compared with 87 percent for white blood cell imaging and 69 percent for bone scans.

Sensitivity was 89 percent, 82 percent, and 83 percent, respectively, and the specificity was 91 percent, 88 percent and 61 percent, respectively. No adverse reactions were noted, and no HAMA responses developed in a period of up to three months. ...
