Chiron, DowElanco deal

The companies will collaborate to use CHIR's combinatorial chemistry libraries in screens to identify compounds with potential applications in weed, insect and plant disease management. DowElanco, a joint venture between The Dow Chemical Co. and Eli Lilly and Co., will make an undisclosed initial payment to CHIR for use of its libraries in DowElanco's screening assays, and will support research. ...
