Jenner Technologies, Ciba-Geigy Ltd. deal

The companies were to announce today an agreement under which Jenner receives an exclusive worldwide license to a series of compounds to treat cancer and related conditions. One of the compounds, MTP-PE, is in a Phase III trial conducted by the National Cancer Institute as a therapy for osteogenic sarcoma in children.
