NMP22 urine test data

NMPS reported positive results in a trial in 112 patients. The subjects underwent transurethral resection for transitional cell carcinoma and submitted a urine sample for NMP22 analysis about 10 days later. The resulting NMP22 value was compared with the first cystoscopic result 3-6 months later.
The assay identified 6 of 6 patients who went on to develop invasive disease. Currently, patients with superficial bladder cancer must undergo cystoscopy every 3-6 months to determine whether their disease is recurring. ...
