CGEN (Palo Alto) filed an amended complaint in its lawsuit against MATX to include two former CGEN employees as additional defendants (see BioCentury Jan. 3).

CGEN alleges that MATX (Menlo Park, Calif.) unlawfully gained access to CGEN's process for the large-scale production of highly purified fibrillar collagen by hiring 10 former CGEN employees knowledgeable about CGEN's manufacturing process.
