Idun, Ciba-Geigy Ltd. deal

The companies will collaborate for five years to discover and develop drugs to treat central nervous system disorders using Idun's technology for apoptosis. Ciba (Basel) invested an undisclosed amount for an equity position in excess of 10 percent in the San Diego company.
