Ethical, Wyeth Lederle deal

Wyeth-Ayerst's U.K. subsidiary, Wyeth Lederle, received a co-exclusive license in the U.K. to market ETHCY's transdermal hormone replacement therapy combination patch to treat menopausal symptoms and to prevent osteoporosis. Solvay S.A. has a co-exclusive license to the product.

Separately, Phytopharm Ltd., a former ETHCY subsidiary, will develop its Zemaphyte treatment for severe, steroid-resistant, atopic eczema with Fisons plc. ...
