The Cleveland company announced results of a pivotal trial of the device, which reduced imaged amounts of scarring and patient-reported pain in everyday activities, both by statistically significant amounts. The results of the European trial were presented at the European Congress of Neurosurgery in Berlin and are being prepared for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
Peridural fibrosis was significantly reduced (p<0.05) as scored by MRIs read by a blinded neuroradiologist. Pain reported by patients in daily activities also was reduced significantly. ...
