CVAS (San Diego) announced animal data that show reduced brain injury in a model of stroke.
As presented at the International Symposium on Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism in Cologne, Germany, recombinant NIF gave a 48 percent reduction in brain lesions in treated versus untreated rats, whose ischemia had lasted two hours. A reduction in neutrophil migration also was observed. ...
