Mycogen, Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. deal

The companies finalized their agreement to develop transgenic crops with built-in pest resistance (see BioCentury Sept. 25). Pioneer will pay MYCO $51 million, which includes $21 million in R&D funding and $30 million for 3 million shares of MYCO common stock. MYCO will have 23 million shares outstanding after the deal. ...
