The ministry granted E905,000 ($1.3 million) over three years to a consortium led by Pharming’s DNage B.V. subsidiary to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets, and to develop therapeutics to treat premature aging diseases. As part of the consortium, DNage, Pyxis and Eberhard Karls University will develop tools for drug discovery, while DNage and Leiden University will identify biomarkers.
