University researchers reported that the soluble cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) E-selectin and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 can guide angiogenesis as well as mediate inflammation.
As published in Nature, the two soluble CAMs induced angiogenesis in vivo, in 10 nanomolar concentrations, when delivered to rat corneas by Hydron pellet implants. ...
