Recombinant platelet factor 4 data

RGEN and collaborators published results of a Phase I trial showing that rPF4 may perform safely as a replacement for protamine, which is used to neutralize heparin following procedures that required a temporary halt in clotting.

As reported in Circulation, 18 patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization were given 5000U of heparin, plus enough additional heparin after their procedures to have coagulation times of greater than 300 seconds. ...
