GEM 91 antisense compound data

The Worcester, Mass., company reported on a follow-up to its Phase 1A French study. In the follow-up, patients given a single-dose infusion of up to 2 mg/kg of drug exhibited no clinically significant intolerance. Plasma concentrations of GEM 91 were achieved that have been shown to inhibit HIV in vitro.
Hybridon also reported Phase IA results at the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC), showing no adverse effects in 30 HIV-positive patients given single doses. ...
