Murex sales and marketing update

The Norcross, Ga., company signed a contract with the German Red Cross Blood Center of Lower Saxony to provide 600,000 Murex anti-HCV tests to detect hepatitis C viral antibodies in blood products. MXX said the contract is worth about $1 million.

That contract, and MXX's HCV contracts with other German customers, will ultimately depend on the outcome of litigation over rights to HCV technology. ...
