LIPO presented a comprehensive update on the status of its clinical trials.
The company has begun or will begin U.S. trials of ABLC amphotericin B lipid complex in four indications. A Phase II/III trial in the prevention of fungal infections in patients undergoing bone marrow transplants has started. A pilot phase will enroll 30 patients to evaluate the drug's safety in this patient population. Subsequently about 400 patients will be enrolled in the randomized phase. ...
