Mycogen sales and marketing update

Weather-related revenue shortfalls, combined with charges and other expenses related to the company's previously announced restructuring, added up to a "disappointing" quarter, MYCO said. Seed sales, which represent close to 95 percent of revenues, suffered from the flooding in the Midwest and the company lost $6.8 million (40 cents per share) on revenues of $15.7 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30. In the year-earlier period, the loss was $1.5 million (11 cents) on revenues of $11.7 million. Biopesticide sales represent about 5 percent of revenues. ...
