MassTrace acquired intellectual property from TSND and Cornell University (New York, N.Y.), including 82 issued patents and 34 patent applications, of which 12 are issued patents covering compositions of matter that MassTrace intends to develop as metaprobes. Metaprobes measure enzyme activity in vivo for enzymes involved in drug activity or metabolism as diagnostics or to stratify patients for clinical trials.
