ALG Co. preclinical data

ALG presented results in dogs given autologous bone marrow stromal cells that had been engineered to express a human gene for Factor IX. The dogs had plasma levels of up to 233 ng/ml of Factor IX for 7-12 days, a level that would be therapeutic in humans, ALG said. The modified stromal cells were detected in the dogs for up to 28 weeks, the duration of the study. ...
