Arris, Pharmacia AB deal

The companies will develop oral anti-thrombotics for blood clotting disorders using ARRS's Delta technology, focusing on inhibitors of three serine proteases involved in the blood clotting cascade.

ARRS (South San Francisco) said $16 million of the potential $40 million in the deal is guaranteed over the first three years. Pharmacia will pay an undisclosed license fee, and research funding for three to five years, milestone payments and royalties. ...
