Biocompatibles Ltd., Johnson & Johnson Interventional Systems deal

The collaborators will develop JJIS's metallic stents and metallic drug delivery stents for use in blood vessels using BII's phosphorylcholine (PC) non-thrombogenic and drug delivery PC coatings.
BII will receive an initial payment of £200,000, and after the successful conclusion of preclinical trials would be paid an additional £500,000 for an option on the BII vascular stents. BII subsequently could receive a £1.8 million fee for an exclusive worldwide license to the technology. ...
