GNE (South San Francisco) received a one-year option to license exclusively outside of Asia the rights to in vivo applications of ATIS's Stem Cell Proliferation Factor (SCPF). ATIS has been characterizing SCPF's ability to expand hematopoietic stem cells

GNE will conduct all further sequencing, cloning and expression of the factor. If the option is exercised, ATIS could receive up to $50 million in future equity and milestone payments, in addition to royalties. ...
