The Richmond, Calif., company disclosed preliminary results of a Phase II double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot Phase II trial in 9 patients with severe chronic pain.
The analgesic peptide was more effective than placebo for pain relief and reduction of pain intensity, with mild flushing the most frequent side effect. Results will be submitted for publication. ...
