Cephalon, Laboratoire L. Lafon deal

CEPH acquired the Japanese rights to modafinil from Laboratoire L. Lafon of France. The West Chester, Penn., company already has exclusive rights to the product in the U.S., the U.K., Ireland, Mexico and Japan. CEPH will make milestone and royalty payments to Lafon, from which it originally licensed modafinil in 1993. ...
