CGNE said the April yields and packouts of its MacGregor brand tomatoes at its Immokalee, Fla., plant were lower than expected. As a result, CGNE expects lower than planned revenues and a higher than planned net loss for its fourth fiscal quarter ending June 30. CGNE declined to give estimates.

CGNE said total tomato output for the plant was on target; however, the yield for the MacGregor brand was below the company's expectations. CGNE (Davis, Calif.) said it normally yields a 30 percent packout for the MacGregor brands. ...
