Agouron, Japan Tobacco deal

AGPH received a $24 million milestone payment from Japan Tobacco, upon review of AGPH's Phase II data of AG1343, an HIV protease inhibitor. For the past six months, AGPH (La Jolla, Calif.) has conducted a series of Phase II trials evaluating the safety and anti-HIV activity of several doses of the drug.
