biosys, Crop Genetics International Corp. deal

The bioinsecticide companies completed their merger under which CROP became a wholly owned subsidiary of BIOS (see BioCentury, Dec. 12). BIOS issued 3.5 million common shares in exchange for all of CROP's convertible exchangeable preferred and common stock. BIOS will relocate its Palo Alto operations to CROP's Columbia, Md., headquarters. BIOS has 11.7 million shares outstanding after the deal. ...
