IDEC-C2B8 chimeric antibody targeted to the CD20 marker on B cells data

IDPH (San Diego) reported Phase II data in 34 patients infused with 375 mg/m2 weekly for four treatments, demonstrating responses in 22 patients, without chemotherapy side effects. Adverse reactions were flu-like symptoms for the first infusion.

At the Annual Scientific Meeting on the Biological Therapy of Cancer in Napa, Calif., the company said that three patients had a complete response, 13 had partial shrinkage of 50 percent or more, and six more had minor responses with shrinkage of 25-50 percent. ...
