Chondrograft laboratory-grown cartilage cells data

Swedish researchers published results from 23 patients treated with the cells, showing that cartilage defects could be repaired over the five years of follow-up.
As reported in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Cambridge, Mass., company’s culture techniques allowed ex vivo expansion of the patients’ own cells, which were implanted back into the defective area. Cartilage tissue doesn’t normally regenerate in the body. ...
