Crop Genetics International deal

CROP (Columbia, Md.) and DuPont Agricultural Products will cancel on Dec. 31 their global development and marketing agreement for insecticidal virus products. The 1991 agreement granted DuPont exclusive worldwide marketing rights.

CROP's Spod-X bioinsecticide against the beet armyworm has been registered for used by the EPA since May 1993, but sales have been limited to certain export markets. CROP said it is seeking a distributor in the U.S. and Southeast Asia. ...
