ATHN (South San Francisco) reported reversal of symptoms in guinea pigs with experimentally induced allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE), a model of the human disease.

At the meeting of the Society of Neuroscience in Miami, the company and university collaborators showed that mAN100226 rapidly cleared monocytes and lymphocytes from the brain, with reversal of paralysis and other symptoms.
