The Hopkinton, Mass., company reported that all 16 infected patients treated with the immunoglobulin G therapeutic have shown improvement in at least one clinical symptom. No adverse effects and no antibodies to the pig product have developed.
Two patients have received two cycles of therapy, and one has received three. The latter patient showed increased CD4 counts for two to three months after each treatment. ...
