Lidakol anti-viral data

LDAKA said preliminary analysis of its double-blind Phase II study showed that mean overall healing time of herpetic lesions in women treated with 10 percent Lidakol cream five times per day was 4.8 days compared to 5.3 days in the placebo group.

Of 44 patients enrolled, there were 35 evaluable patients, 16 in the treatment group and 19 in the placebo group. The study looked at one outbreak per patient. The 9 patients who weren't evaluable included women who had menstrual periods during herpes outbreaks and those who didn't comply with the dosing regimen. ...
