AlloDerm skin replacement data

Scientists reported improved healing of skin in ninepatients grafted with AlloDerm as compared to a control site, including reduced contracture of the wound. The data, from the equivalent of a Phase II trial, were presented at the Sixth International Symposium of Wound Healing and Wound Management in San Francisco.
AlloDerm uses processed human skin from cadavers as a template for an ultrathin graft (no dermis) of the patient's own skin. LIFC already has started to market the product. ...
