NovoSeven RT regulatory update

FDA approved Novo Nordisk’s NovoSeven RT recombinant coagulation Factor VIIa to treat bleeding episodes and for perioperative management in adults and children with Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia with refractoriness to platelet transfusions, with or without antibodies to platelets. The room temperature stable formulation of recombinant human coagulation Factor VIIa is already approved to treat bleeding episodes and for perioperative management in adults and children with hemophilia A or B with inhibitors and congenital Factor VII deficiency.
