Almirall, Ironwood sales and marketing update

Almirall launched Constella linaclotide in Germany, the U.K. and Nordic countries to treat moderate to severe irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C). The public price for 28 once-daily capsules is € 99.31 ($131.04) in Germany; £37.56 ($58.32) in the U.K.; €115.65 ($152.60) in Finland; DKK795.45 ($141.01) in Denmark; NOK663.90 ($114.95) in Norway; and SEK695 ($105.97) in Sweden. The guanylate cyclase C ( GCC; GUCY2C) agonist was approved in the EU last November.
