Pulmatrix preclinical data

In a mouse model of acute tobacco smoke-induced airway inflammation, once-daily PUR118 given 1 hour before tobacco smoke exposure significantly reduced macrophages and neutrophils vs. controls (p<0.01 for both). Additionally, PUR118 significantly inhibited rhinovirus-induced airway inflammation and rhinovirus-driven exacerbation responses vs. a control dry powder in an asthma-like mouse model of rhinovirus infection.
