SHACT: Feasibility study data

An open-label, Swedish feasibility trial in 10 women undergoing hysteroscopies in an outpatient setting showed that SHACT did not negatively interfere with the examination and that the product can be used in the outpatient setting to ease pain and discomfort. No safety or tolerability issues were reported. Pharmanest said pain relief was not evaluated in the trial.
