White House prescription drug report

The White House released a report on prescription drug coverage and pricing on Monday that is intended to bolster support for the Clinton administration's Medicare prescription drug benefit plan.

The study, which was conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) at President Clinton's request, found that seniors without drug coverage do not have access to the discounts and rebates that insured people receive.
