NIH releases final policy for single IRB

In a final National Cancer Institute (see BioCentury Extra, Dec. 3, 2014).

In response to comments on the draft, NIH said it "found no compelling reason to narrow the essential scope" of the policy, but said it did modify some sections, particularly surrounding exceptions. NIH also clarified in the final policy that additional costs associated with single IRB review "may be charged to grants or contracts as direct costs, provided that such costs are well-justified." ...
