Biotech associations form international council

Twenty biotech trade associations created the International Council of Biotechnology Associations (ICBA) to advocate for public policies -- including "more efficient and effective governance" and science-based regulatory systems -- that support the growth of the worldwide biotech industry. Jim Greenwood, president and CEO of the Biotechnology Industry Organization, will serve as chairman, and Nathalie Moll, secretary general of EuropaBio, will serve as vice-chair.
