Obama signs top-line budget, appropriations in the works

President Obama signed into law the Bipartisan Budget Act (see BioCentury Extra, Dec. 11).

The government has been operating at post-sequestration FY13 levels since October, when President Obama signed the continuing resolution ending a federal government shutdown. Congress will now work to allocate the budget, including appropriations for FDA and NIH, before Jan. 15, when the continuing resolution expires. ...
