U.K. biomedical fund to begin accepting research applications

The U.K.'s three-year, L180 million ($285.8 million) Biomedical Catalyst fund will begin accepting applications for awards on April 30. The fund, which will be open to academics and small- to medium-sized companies, will provide awards for research in any sector aimed at addressing healthcare challenges, including stratified drug development and diagnostics. Applicants are eligible for awards of up to L150,000 ($238,125) for feasibility-stage research, or up to L3 million ($4.8 million) for early or late stage research. ...
