CMS delays outpatient cuts

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that it will postpone implementation of a rule that would have cut hospital reimbursements by about 20% for certain products, such as EPO, that are delivered as infusions or injections to Medicare patients in hospitals.
