EPA advisory report on Bt plants

The EPA's scientific advisory panel (SAP) completed its report on the agency's reassessment of registered Bt cotton, potato and corn plants. Existing registrations for Bt corn and cotton products will expire in September, and the agency asked the SAP to provide advice on the adequacy of its assessments to date of insect resistance management, gene flow to wild plant species, effects on the soil and non-target organisms and effects on human health. ...
