Kadmon mum on IPO rumors

Kadmon Corp. LLC (New York, N.Y.) did not respond to requests for comment on media reports that said the biotech may file for an IPO as early as this week. IPO signals are nothing new to the company, and date back to 2014 when Kadmon said it was exploring opportunities, including an IPO. At the time, the company named Harlan Waksal president and CEO. Former CEO Samuel Waksal was named chief of innovation, science and strategy.

Samuel Waksal's new role was not an officer position, which was germane because he was permanently barred from acting as an officer or director of any public company in a 2005 settlement with the SEC. ...
