Gilead raises $10B in note deal

Gilead Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) raised $10 billion through the sale of senior unsecured notes underwritten by Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan.

The notes consist of $1 billion in 1.85% notes due in 2018; $2 billion of 2.55% notes due in 2020; $1 billion in 3.25% notes due in 2022; $2.75 billion in 3.65% notes due in 2026; $1 billion in 4.6% notes due in 2035; and $2.25 billion in 4.75% notes due in 2046. ...
