Semma closes $44M series A round

Semma Therapeutics Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) raised $44 million in a series A round led by existing investor MPM Capital. Existing investor Fidelity Biosciences and new investors ARCH Venture Partners and Medtronic plc (NYSE:MDT) also participated.
Separately, Semma announced a partnership with Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS; SIX:NOVN). Both companies declined to disclose terms of the deal. ...
